This workshop from the Bowery School of Burlesque will focus on mid-century burlesque striptease, such as the glove peel, the bump, the grind, the shimmy, the tassel-twirl, and the big reveal If you've always been curious about burlesque, but not quite sure that you had the chops to carry it off, this workshop will give you the chance to give it a try in a safe environment.
Tickets are $25 and include a pastie making kit and textbook.
Wear whatever you'll be comfortable in; there will not be anywhere to change. Wearing a bra with straps is recommened so you can practice the "strap tease."
