When was the last time you saw a live magic show. You'll have your chance Janurary 25th at the annual magic night at the Brooklyn Society of Ethical Culture, as they play host to a wide range of new and established magicians. Marco Monteverdi, Franks Brents, the husband and wife team The Melodians, Belinda Sinclair, and Professor Bobby Baxton are scheduled to appear (although some may disappear).

The show gets rave reviews, and will likely sell out, so pick up your tickets early at Park Slope Copy on 7th Avenue. Of course the real burning question is what exactly is the Brooklyn Society of Ethical Culture. Well, that's a hell of a question. After spending the last 20 minutes reading their charter, we're no closer to coming to an answer, but from what we can gather they seem like a good and kind bunch of graduate students and octogenarians, who host folk music, read T.S. Elliot, drink coffee, and play host to the occasional jaw dropping magic act.
