Not one of those pansy floating holidays, Veterans Day is marked on the same day every year - November 11th, the day an official armistice was recognized for World War I - the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. Veterans Day, differs from Memorial Day in that it is a day to honor living veterans and to reflect on the cause of world peace. Naturally ideals as weighty as these require a someone of great stature and supreme eloquence to give voice to them, that's why this year they've chosen none other than the star of TV hit Party of Five, Jennifer Love Hewitt to be the official spokesperson of Veterans Day.
