This November 19th join the WTO (The World Toilet Organization) in a day of quiet celebration. Take a moment and reflect upon the simple unadorned ceramic receptacle. Marvel at it the elegant valve-free syphonic flushing mechanism invented by Thomas Crapper. Meditate for a moment on what the world would be like without toilets. We owe them a lot right? Well, today is their day. Give that special toilet in your life some extra attention today, and keep in mind always the WTO code: Avoid squatting on seats, remember to flush, clean up before you leave, and always keep the floor dry.
