Sponsered by the World Laughter Tour Corporation headquartered in Columbus Ohio and the Laughter Club International headquartered in Mumbai India, world laughter day is a day in which all citizens are encouraged to "set aside their cares and differences and engage in good-hearted acts of laughing outloud, silliness, giggles, clowning, chuckles, guffaws, grins and hapy foolishness in the spirit of health, peace and joy."
For information on how to celebrate international laughter day, please contact Francine Berger the international laughter expert (ILE) at Stony Brook college. .
NOTE:World laughter day was previously celebrated on the second Sunday of January, but due to the unhumorously bitter cold found in most western nations during January it was moved to the first sunday of every May. more info
