To kick off Tartan week celebrations this year the Scots take over 6th Ave from 45th to 58th streets. Expect lots of bag pipes and many hairy legs. Your best bet to view the parade is at the top end around 58th away from the crowds coming from Grand Cental. If you can trace your lineage back to a Scottish clan and you would like to march with your Scottish clan - or if you just love playing the bagpipes then you can register online.
