Flow Pro 11-FR and Pro 11-FS Bindings
Riders tend to either or love or hate Flow bindings. They're pitched as a hybrid binding, providing the ease of entry and exit of stepins with the responsiveness strapins, but last years flows left many people with the feeling that instead they were getting the worst of both systems. The constant adjustment neccesary to get them just right, mean that you spent as much or more time sitting on your tail as with strap ins, and the often loose fit from maladjusted flows left people complaining of stepin like sloppiness.
However, this year's flow bindings are vastly improved over last years, and the system may finally be living up to its promise. The Flow Pro models are reasonably priced and very decent performers, with the FR (free ride model) being slightly stiffer than the FS (free style) model. If you're looking seriously at the Flows make sure you try out a pair before you commit, because even with all the kinks worked out they're still definitely not for everyone.
Flow Team Series
If you've tried the Flows and you love the flows and you have some really serious cash to burn then you'll definitely want to check out the the Flow Team Series. These are some serious bindings at a very serious price ($459). Featuring a magnesium base plate and carbon fiber high back the Flow Team Series bindings are some of the most response binding (of any type) available on the market today.
