The cocktails are competantly prepared, the atmosphere is reasonably sexy, but it's the extremely discreet, if not exactly secret location is the primary draw to this sexy East Village lounge.

- The entrance is down stairs marked only by a hanging blue owl.

- Be careful not to pick your nose in front of the mirror in the back, it's two ways and secludes a rather awkwardly shaped private room.
- If your thinking about booking a party for the back room, have a good look first so you know what your getting into.

Great Place
If you're looking for an awesome and romantic spot for happy hour, or any other time, Blue Owl is great. I've been going about three time and week and the drinks are amazing. They just got there new summer cocktail list and it has some fabulous drinks on it....
