A Perfect Place to Chill
1 of 1 people found this review helpful
Just come back from a 6 day break to New York, whilst visiting Greenwich Village we stumbled on the 1849 'Gold Rush' bar. This place is cheap (Happy Hour) and has great service. It was a pleasure to spend time here, the staff were great and the atmosphere was chilled. The interior of the place was breath taking, it just had that great feel if you know what I mean. Out of all the 6 days we spent in NY the 1849 was by far the best bar we visited and we did visit a few. Do yourself and favour GO!

Nice place after work
This place can help reconnect after a long day of work. The decor is very nice. Don't get lost in it though, if you sit there for too long, you'll be asked to get more drinks or leave. Politely.
