Overview

Williamsburg is on its way to becoming the SoHo just east of the river. So a top-shelf cocktail and tapas bar like this is presumably quite safe from firebombing. However, the question still remains if the armies of gentrification have marched in enough numbers to keep them kitted out with home-made grenadine and goat cheese.

Despite its "aw, shucks" name, this Williamsburg bar eschews Grandma-chic but still takes old-fashioned as a compliment.
