New York's best bar to pick up a cop. Just across the street from police HQ and well behind the security barrier. You'd need to head to the ocean to find more blue. |

The entire interior of this bar was shipped piece by piece from Ireland and reassembled here. The effect is an ambience of genuine authenticity with a only a few jarring details: an HVAC vent, false ceiling, and of course the omnipresent Wall Street yuppies boozing after work. |

Hugely popular latin club where the crowd dresses to impress and comes to dance. Hot is really the only word for it. |

Sleezy in the best possible way. A strip club that attracts as many women as men, books rock bands, and where people actually dance together at the same time without exchanging cash. |

At Jeremey's there are 21 beers on tap, but from 8am to 10am Coors is the only one anyone's drinking. The morning special, a 32oz styrofoam cup of Coors brings in a crowd of fishmongers and a few stockbrokers looking to kick start the day. If you opt to avoid the morning crowds and have dinner the kitchen serves some unsurprisingly exceptional seafood. |

In the early 19th century Water street was home to a nearly continuous string of saloons and brothels. The Bridge Café was one of the latter. |

A historic restoration of Front Street has has yielded this attractive Italian wine bar. Exposed brick and iron-work create a chic downtown ambience just far enough away from the tourist crush. |

Well worth the hike from Wall Street this Irish pub is a strong choice for after work drinks. The kitchen is head and shoulders above pub par and the crowd is a nice mix of two disparate groups, those who work downtown and those who live there. |
