You can see a different type of New York from this rooftop perch above the Water Club restaurant - a New York that for good or ill feels a lot like the Jersey shore. |

This business casual bar and restaurant was qucikly embraced by the upper echelons of Murry Hill's investment banking back office elite and the bleeding edge of the corporate marketing set. |

Second avenue is lined with cookie cutter Irish pubs that serve more Bud than Guinness. This is not one of them. A solid pint of Guinness, a wood beam ceiling, and a roaring fireplace ensure Failte's place head and shoulders above the rest. |

Live country music, Tex-Mex and killer Margarhitas make this one of the best Murray Hill alternatives going. And if you're under 21 getting in is not a problem, you'll be carded at the bar. |

Lacking personality or location the next best thing is a gimmick. They've come up with two number themed ones. No men under 25 are allowed in, and the number 925 in the name refers not to the address, but to the fact everything on the menu is $9, $2 or $5. |

Great traditional Irish music in a setting more reminiscent of an actual Irish country pub than the usual Mc'Irish cookie cutter pubs in this neighborhood. |

After an hour in line, bribing the bouncer, dropping $350 on a bottle, and then sitting in a cramped space watching girls teeter on high heels on the famed "runway" you can either tell your friends that your night out in NYC was a complete disaster or tell them "That shit was off the hook dude!" This club is almost entirely populated by the friends of people who chose the later. |
