With a location like this a bar/restaurant such as Jack's can aspire to serving quality food and keeping the prices down, and that's about it. Jack does a fine job on both accounts. If you're in a hotel in Times Square and feel like nipping out for a quick low key pint and a spot of grub Jack's is a solid choice. |

Vaults the low bar for Times Square pubs thanks to decent atmosphere, decent grub and drafts in imperial pints. |

Tiny, ground floor hotel lounge feels bigger with the judicious use of mirrors. And with clientele as attractive as this being in close quarters doesn't seem like such a bad thing. Note: Head left at the aquarium. |

This roof deck bar is far enough away from Times Square to lose the view, but close enough to attract a crowd of tourists and midtown middle management. Cocktails start at $16 -- they've got to pay for that ICrave design somehow. |

This Irish pub once home to the infamous gay bar Stella's, is trying to achieve a more familty friendly brand of debauched night - the kind that ends in the whole bar singing off key to The Wild Rover. |
