Restaurant as theme park. Don't come here for the food, come here to scare your 12 year old, or come here because you and your girlfriend are cornballs, or come here because you and your friends just ate a batch of pot brownies. |

Remarkable for one reason and one reason only, but man is it a doozy. This bar is on the 48th floor of the Marriott Marquis and it's smack dab in the middle of Times Square, and oh yeah, it rotates. |

Red Velvet and black walls make for a decidedly 80s twist on rock and roll chic. Aside from hotel guests an odd cast of refugees from the Time Square mayhem have made it their local. |

Opened in 2004 in the space formerly occupied by Float this club draws a diverse and suprisingly unpretentious crowd to its swank environs. |

Oak bar, leather banquettes, tuxdedoed waiters. It's as expensive as it looks. |

Nestled inside New York's only modern gothic German hotel, the Night Lounge is a sleek black and green windowless restaurant and lounge. Waitresses in backless dresses serve burgers with cheese fondue dipping sauce to French men in dark suits on holiday with their mistresses. |

Like Madame X this Indian themed lounge manages to walk the narrow line between cheesy and sexy, and somehow manages to be both at the same time. Burning incence, red on red décor, pillows everywhere, waitresses in slinky silk sarongs, and Bollywood flicks on the TV all contribute to a laughably tacky, but actually quite sultry environ. |
