Opened in 2004 in the space formerly occupied by Float this club draws a diverse and suprisingly unpretentious crowd to its swank environs. |

Oak bar, leather banquettes, tuxdedoed waiters. It's as expensive as it looks. |

Nestled inside New York's only modern gothic German hotel, the Night Lounge is a sleek black and green windowless restaurant and lounge. Waitresses in backless dresses serve burgers with cheese fondue dipping sauce to French men in dark suits on holiday with their mistresses. |

Like Madame X this Indian themed lounge manages to walk the narrow line between cheesy and sexy, and somehow manages to be both at the same time. Burning incence, red on red décor, pillows everywhere, waitresses in slinky silk sarongs, and Bollywood flicks on the TV all contribute to a laughably tacky, but actually quite sultry environ. |

It's Times Square so it is of course, uttely, completely insane. But if you love sports, and sports bars, how can you not love a sports bar on steroids. |

It's a bar and it's a restaurant, and it's on Mars. What more do you need to know? If you haven’t been and think you can manage to eat and drink with your tongue in your cheek then it's time you paid it a visit. |

If ever (god forbid) a series of circumstances conspire so that you find yourself in Times Square and also really quite totally stoned, than this dingey basement piano bar is so bad it just might be a really good time. Order a Coke and zone out as you watch the drunken businessmen sing along to Frank Sinatra. Otherwise under pretty much all other circumstances it's best avoided. |

Generic lobby bar of the Sheraton Hotel offers little beyond a convenient place to wait for a hotel guest. |
