This candlelit basement lounge below the corner restaurant SB3 is small, dark and true to it name - sexy. In an environment such as this the burlesque shows can be almost too hot to handle.

This bi-level gay bar is a slightly more low key option than Vlada Lounge. It's equally easy to have a conversation with friends or make new ones depending on your fancy. And if you feel like doing both your friends can take over one of the couches lining the wall near the bar and lure in passing hotties.

There's a wading pool in the lobby. The pool has a bar. They sell swimsuits at the reception desk. The components are here for a truly great summer afternoon and you don't even have to be a hotel guest to take advantage.

There are two distinct spaces at this wine bar. A standup area serving cheese and wine and adjoining DJ lounge. Skip the sparse lounge with an odd $2 fee to sit down, and head straight for the wine bar where you can size up the real draw here, the huge selection of Artisanal cheeses on display.

The word Sound was added to the name of this coffee shop by day and lounge by night, and the chill atmosphere has been given a jolt courtesy of nightly live music acts.

The trendy décor of this bi-level lounge is a departure from the frat bars that populate this stretch of 2nd Avenue, but the crowd and the music fit right in.

The space is almost above reproach. A restaurant, bar, lounge all decked to the nines with Arabian flair. There's even a game room with a pool table, poker board, and a PS3. Unfortunately enjoyment of it requires the mental exercise of blocking out the Hamptons mate or die crowd, and forgeting you're drinking a $9 Corona.
