Not just a student bar. Josie Wood's is the NYU student bar. It's basement environs might as well be annexed considering the amount of financial aid dollars spent here. And while anyone over 23 will feel like a dinosaur, for the kids with shiny new fake ids this is the place to head after class on a Thursday.

Enjoy a Pop-Tart with some coffee, mulled cider, or beer at this music venue in the basement of St. Paul's Chapel. Not only is the music all acoustic, it's also unamplified, which hasn't deterred the likes of Jeff Buckley, Ani DiFranco, Lisa Loeb, and Suzanne Vega from playing here.

A mecca for the frat boys at heart. Start off the night with a little beer pong, then a few rounds of shots, and when your buzz gets going work your way to the dance floor and find someone's hip to hump arrhythmically to the sweet beats of Abba.
