This locals dive is one of the oldest bars in Harlem. It's not so much a destination as a place to end up. But it you find yourself here, there's a pool table, a game on the TV, and even a piano against the wall if you've got the chops. |

This bar has Eastern European favorites Okacim, Zywiec and Warka on tap as well a decent selection of wine, champagne and a full bar. There's back room for parties and a nice sized garden. |

There was a time not too long ago when bars like this confined themselves to the Upper East Side. This sharp counterpoint to Beauty Bar next door features giant plasma TVs, wings and burgers, and standing room only crowds. |

The vibe is similar to most it this area, a bit corporate a bit frattish, but there's a few more women and a more attractive crowd than most other places nearby. |

The former Snapper Creek is now East End Tavern. There's no shortage of Plasma TVs, and the food's pretty reasonable. |

It's big, it's crowded and there's no better bar for blocks in any direction. If you have to go to this area, this is the place you'll want to drink. |
