A nice, inoffensive and surprisingly neighborhoody spot to go to dodge the Greenwich Village crush. Sure the décor seen better days, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Virtually a wine library this attractive wine bar takes great pains to cater to both the wine novice and conousier. The 3,000 bottles that line the shelves of the long narrow space have prices ranging from just $25-$50 a bottle and waiter's are always to help you choose just the right one to try.

A dark, crappy, and quickly becoming notorious student bar where the drinks are cheap, the dance floor is over-crowded, everyone's trashed, and the waitresses keep coming around with jello-shots. Naturally this can be a fantastic time if you're of a certain age or frame of mind.

A drinking bar usually full, but rarely overcrowded. Not a bad place for picking up what with the enormous bar, friendly pool table, and a long shared sex line for the bathroom.
