This warm and comfortable bar has the makings of a truly great neighborhood haunt. Couches make it a nice place to take over with friends and a pool table makes for a good place to make new ones.

This small, dimly lit bar replaced everyone's favorite neighborhood hole, Pour House. The music's seems to be always a bit too loud, the pool table is uneven, but the crowd tends to be pretty friendly and they've got cask conditioned ale.

This long saloon bar aims to be Park Slope's answer to the likes of cocktail focused bars like Pegu Club or Milk & Honey. Hopefully a fireplace, and dark wood interior will help it keep a cozy neighborhood vibe despite a location just down the street from a giant new condo development.

This locals dive is one of the oldest bars in Harlem. It's not so much a destination as a place to end up. But it you find yourself here, there's a pool table, a game on the TV, and even a piano against the wall if you've got the chops.
