This cozy Irish bar has Imperial (20oz) pints, 16 beers on tap, two pool tables, a dart board, and an Erotic Photo Hunt Game. Really what more could you need?

This bi-level Mexican spot has pool tables, live music, and a backyard patio. In the summer a small crowd comes here following PS1 Warm-Up and are rewarded with a free PBR by showing their wrist-bands.

This bar has Eastern European favorites Okacim, Zywiec and Warka on tap as well a decent selection of wine, champagne and a full bar. There's back room for parties and a nice sized garden.

There are dives and then there are dives where you can smell the history soaked into the stains on the floor. This blue collar bar is one of the latter. Since 1969 Timboo's has been serving beer to neighborhood residents, although it's not exactly the type of place you'd want to hang out soaking in the history.

The theme is wild west, but the scene is waitresses in mini skirts pushing jello shots and frat boys playing beer pong and Big Buck Hunter.

The space is almost above reproach. A restaurant, bar, lounge all decked to the nines with Arabian flair. There's even a game room with a pool table, poker board, and a PS3. Unfortunately enjoyment of it requires the mental exercise of blocking out the Hamptons mate or die crowd, and forgeting you're drinking a $9 Corona.

The much loved Bellevue Bar has gone the way of the dodo, but its replacement has the same cheap beer, many of the same regulars, and of course the same prime location next to the Port Authority. With a winning combo like that Why Not is hoping its name will be its calling card to the Greyhound traveling legions.

The forbidding, grafitied, windowless, steel door that marks the entry to Twisted belies the friendly neighborhood bar within.

The archteypal DUMBO venue, an enormous warehouse space that somehow feels cozy and neighborhoody. There's a pool table a wrap-around bar, and a large restaurant all in the same 20ft ceiling room.
