Live country music, Tex-Mex and killer Margarhitas make this one of the best Murray Hill alternatives going. And if you're under 21 getting in is not a problem, you'll be carded at the bar.

If you loved waiting in line to be crammed into a space too small to dance at Dirty Disco, you'll love it's latest incarnation which has all that and a South Hamptons aesthetic.

If ever (god forbid) a series of circumstances conspire so that you find yourself in Times Square and also really quite totally stoned, than this dingey basement piano bar is so bad it just might be a really good time. Order a Coke and zone out as you watch the drunken businessmen sing along to Frank Sinatra. Otherwise under pretty much all other circumstances it's best avoided.

For 11 years Rocky Sullivan's was a Grammercy fixture. Now it's moved to this comfortable Red Hook space. Thanks to the craft ale, live music, frequent readings, brick over pizza, and a roof deck it might be even more popular in these new digs than it was in the old ones.
