A recent study has shown that using a dark hair dye for twenty or more years can increase your chances of contracting Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma by 40%.  The increase in risk is small, but significant. Whereas the risk of contracting Hodgkin's lymphoma is usually 1 in 54 in a woman's lifetime, among women who have used dark hair dyes since 1980 this risk is about 1 in 27.

Research at the University of California, Irvine by Elizabeth Loftus is shedding new light on the way memory works. Specifically, Loftus has shown the ease with which memory can be distorted or even created entirely by the suggestions and coercions of an interviewer. The implications are profound and impact fields ranging from advertising to criminal science and has led many psychologists to question the validity of the very concept of a repressed memory.

A study of 293 women at SUNY Albany has uncovered a surprisingly high correlation between condom use and depression (as measured by the Beck Depression Inventory). Gordon Gallup, the psychologist who led the study concluded after isolating for all other factors that mood altering hormones contained in semen have a strong anti-depressant effect. Expect a new pill form to be available next year.
