GMail Drive

Those crazy Danes! What will they think of next?! The GMail Drive Shell is just about the coolest piece of software we've ever seen. It's freeware. It installs in 2 seconds. And it adds a 1 gigabyte internet connected drive to your Windows Explorer. Just treat it like any other drive - browse files, create folders, and drag and drop your files to copy them. Behind the scenes GMail Drive connects to GMail and mails your files to yourself (or downloads them). Of course this is all transparent to you. What you get is free, anywhere access to 1 GB of storage space. Not bad. And for the Linux users out there, there's even a Linux Gmail filesystem. Thanks Google.

Lie detecting glasses
V Entertainment, a small US company, is marketing a consumer version of a lie detector originally designed for the Isreali government. By analyzing variations in tone of voice the company claims it is able to achieve an 86% success rate in lie detection (polygraphs have only a 83% success rate). The company currently offers two versions, one embedded in a pair of eyeglasses and another which is software based (and available for download). And if that's not enough for you they've even leveraged the technology to be used in a 'Love Detector' as well.Go to the site
