Unsecured web cams

All over the world people use standard software to hook up their webcams to the internet. Thankfully, not all of them remember to set their password. The result is the ultimate in voyeurism. Revealed by a simple Google search these webcams are completely under your control. You can pan, you can zoom, and if you're lucky you can see something that no one wants you to. Sadly, what we've found is pretty boring, but does leave you with a sense of new and profound respect for the internet age. Perhaps there's even art to be found there as this collection of still photos suggests. There's a radio station control room in Japan (we watched two girls writing, plugging in something, writing, plugging in more stuff), A traffic cam, a lake area, a computer room, a parking lot in Europe, a car park in Europe(with audio), a power plant(?), a japanese drum room(audio)??, a music store security cam, a greenhouse, a shopping center, a showroom in italy, an office, ski slopes, a marina, a golf map, someone's desk, somewhere very cold and someone's apartment in Japan. NOTE: These cams require an ActiveX install - click on the top banner in IE (usually a bad idea, but this is just professional webcam software nothing scary).

My peg is hard isn't it?

We've got our friends on the other side of the pond beat on many fronts: free refills, circumcision, SUVs. But, when it comes to children's television programs we have nothing which can compare to the wonder which is the enormously popular Rainbow, a shining ray of filthy light, casting its dirty glow upon the youth of Britain. For your viewing pleasure we've linked to a representative, innuendo free episode concerning the simple, innocent fun of playing with your twanger while bouncing your balls.

Jon Stewart

If you haven't seen John Stewart's interviewed on Crossfire yet. Now is the time. Watching someone plainly state the truth in the national media is a rare and satisfying experience. He came to the show with a simple message: Show's like Crossfire are bad for America. They are willing accessories to the political spin machine, and serve to obfuscate rather than enlighten the truth about their subject. Wacthing Stewart coolly expose Carlson and Bagala for hacks, as much through their protestations can't help but a bring smile to your lips regardless of your political affiliation. You can read the written transcript of the interview here, but watching it is far more fun.

A butterfly discusses the butterfly effect

Most flash movies fall short of what anyone might classify as art, but these two flash movies One! Two! Three are kinda close. And this flash game with no objective other than reaching nirvana through attaining greater height. And well this one isn't flash, but it deserves a mention anyway because it's Valentine's day.
