A recent study has shown that using a dark hair dye for twenty or more years can increase your chances of contracting Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma by 40%.  The increase in risk is small, but significant. Whereas the risk of contracting Hodgkin's lymphoma is usually 1 in 54 in a woman's lifetime, among women who have used dark hair dyes since 1980 this risk is about 1 in 27.

Beautiful animations and clever clues create a real sense of accomplishment when you finally achieve a breakthough and help a stuffed animal come to terms with its own personal demons. Think about it - this is no small feat. Interestingly the site is funded by the sale of real versions of the featured abused stuffed animals. After untangling their neuroses we were almost (very, very nearly) tempted to buy one as a trophy of our efforts.

The website of the Swedish national public radio is one of the most creative sites we've ever encountered. It's most popular feature, Let Them Sing For You, is elegant, original and impressively executed. The idea is simple. Enter a few sentences, a phrase, a word, a song then press a button and listen to your words put together as a collection of samples from popular songs where they feature. The results can sometimes be a bit strained, but always fun. And best of all you can easily email them to a friend. While you're at the site be sure to poke around there's lots of goodies to be found throughout.
