Pinocchia

File under the category: 'There's a fetish for everything', Pinocchia.com (not to be confused with the italian comic book heroine here) is a site for men who love women with big....noses. Galleries fall into two categories: natural (1 , 2) and most definately not natural (1, 2). To Amy Grant and women everywhere unfortunate enough to have found their picture lifted from the internet and transported to one of these galleries we'd just like to say "Your nose is definately not that big." these guys are jerks. Sheesh...it's enough to give a girl a complex.

Lie detecting glasses
V Entertainment, a small US company, is marketing a consumer version of a lie detector originally designed for the Isreali government. By analyzing variations in tone of voice the company claims it is able to achieve an 86% success rate in lie detection (polygraphs have only a 83% success rate). The company currently offers two versions, one embedded in a pair of eyeglasses and another which is software based (and available for download). And if that's not enough for you they've even leveraged the technology to be used in a 'Love Detector' as well.Go to the site

How much is inside?

Dedicated to loosely defined and questionably important purpose. Cockeyed.com 's How Much is Inside page explores not very important questions such as: How many CDs can you label with one sharpie? How long a string is in a can of silly string?  and What is the precise distribution of messages and colors in a bag of Valentine's day hearts? You might be tempted to send an email to the experimenters and point out that the reason these question have remained unanswered to this point is that no really gives a crap, but they look like they're having so much fun counting and measuring. And they do seem like such good people. It would seem a crime to do anything to undermine all their fun.
