Did you know in stats column to the right of the bar map you can see the highest rated and most viewed bars in any neighborhood?Although snopes.com is dedicated to debunking urban legends the most interesting articles on the site are the certainly the legends which have turned out to be true. This one about a man who left shares in liquor compainies to ministers, a house in Jamiaca to 3 lawyers who despised each other, and the rest of his assets to the woman to have the most babies in a ten year period. Also to be found at www.snopes.com is this tidbit about how Jack Nicholson thought his mother was his sister until her death.
Go to the siteThanks to a handful of blogs google-bombing the White House web site a search of the Google for the keywords "Miserable Failure" returns a direct hit with in the first result, the biography of George W. Bush. This is certainly a triumph for the power of bloggers everywhere, but does it go far enough? We think this can and should be improved upon, and so have decided to lead the charge to google-bomb all searches for jackass to the same page. Want to help the cause? Just add the link:
jackass
to your webpage. Don't have a web page? Maybe it's about time you did. You can get a free one from Geocities or Angelfire, and a little content this link and who knows pretty soon the Asociate Press will be running a headline like "Google confirms George Bush is the number one jackass in the world"
Did you know you can use Google for reverse telephone number lookup? This often works even for unlisted numbers, and it returns a handy map of the address where the phone number is registered. We're not sure of what the privacy implications are, but as this search indicates, pretty much everyone's phone number and address is listed it just might not be completely up to date.

Naturally, these hardline tactics have had implications for the other war in Iraq, the one "for the hearts and minds of the Iraqis." [NY Times] (Registration required)
