Internet Hoaxes

One of the great promises of the internet is to bring publishing to masses. Anyone can author a simple web page and publish at zero cost. This ability has ushered in the information revolution, but it is the fact that anyone can publish with complete anonymity which has created a deluge of innumerable hoaxes. Thankfully we have the Museum of Hoaxes to catalog them for us. Odd are you've fallen for at least one of these. Among the myriad of gems nestled in the museum are these wonderful beauties : The very convincing minicooper robot, Chrissy Caviar and Viagraholics.

Buying legal drugs online

US drug laws are complex, capricious, and often fraught with contradictions. The recreational drugs alcohol and tobacco remain legal despite being top killers. Alcohol can be attributed as a direct cause of death for over 2 million people each year world wide, tobacco results in over 3 million -- more than the death rates for all illegal drugs combined. Drug paraphernalia is illegal in most states, but items such as tobacco filtration devices can be legally bought online. And while prepared psychelics are illegal, the plants from which they are derived are sometimes legal and sometimes not. A front yard garden populated with Opium poppies will land you in jail, while growing the San Pedro cactus is perfectly legal. Firmly planted just one small step from the the red line of legality we find ShamanShop.net where everything just barely illegal can be bought cheap and delivered to your door.

How much is inside?

Dedicated to loosely defined and questionably important purpose. Cockeyed.com 's How Much is Inside page explores not very important questions such as: How many CDs can you label with one sharpie? How long a string is in a can of silly string?  and What is the precise distribution of messages and colors in a bag of Valentine's day hearts? You might be tempted to send an email to the experimenters and point out that the reason these question have remained unanswered to this point is that no really gives a crap, but they look like they're having so much fun counting and measuring. And they do seem like such good people. It would seem a crime to do anything to undermine all their fun.
