All day long, everyday, we update this page with stuff. What kind of stuff? Web stuff. All sorts of web stuff. Interesting studies, flash movies, games, cool gadgets, big news, funny pictures, cheap apartments, i dunno...Stuff.

Slightest Touch
The Slightest Touch is a device which sends an alternating electric current through the ankles or back of a woman with the intended purpose of enabling her to reach a pre-orgasmic state so close to the edge that "the slightest touch" will push her over. It's more interesting as a case study of how great PR should work then as sex aid. The makers of The Slightest Touch have certainly received more than their share of good press (Wired News and Tech TV both gave it a write up). And while almost none of the reviewers have actually tested the device we did, it sounds to us like rather expensive ($200) snake oil. One reviewer agrees, while another seems quite enamored.

Real Doll
Quite possibly one of the strangest sites on the web.
RealDoll.Com produces life size dolls which are
disconcertingly realistic. The standard lonely and loaded configuration costs $6000, however
additional options such as an " Interactive sensory response system" for $1500 and or "Hip Gyration system" will quickly run up the final ticket price. As to why anyone would be willing to buy an 85lb silicone doll for the price of a car you need look no further than this recommendation from
Howard Stern - "Best
sex I ever had! I swear to God! This RealDoll feels better than a real woman! She's fantastic! I love her! "

MRI of male and female genitals during coitus
This landmark study and rather innovative use of an MRI by Schultz,Andel,Sabelis and Mooyaart earned them an igNobel award in 2001. It's almost surprising that no one had done this before until you realize that an MRI machine costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, and that they're not the most conducive places for a romantic tryst. The experiment, as one participant explains in an
interview, required the subjects of the picture to lie very still in a metal tube barely large enough for one. The first attempt in 1992 turned a dismal failure, as the movement necessary to, ah, keep the experiment going ended up blurring the images. The availability of Viagra in the Netherlands as of 1998 allowed for a repeated experiment with vastly improved results. The images and analysis are certainly educational. The most useful lesson seems to be to skip the coffee before sex, as a full
bladder seems to really push things around.

Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome
Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome is a serious and debilitating condition, and is clearly not something to laugh about. That said you may enjoy the very unamusing experience of one unfortunate sufferer who in 1999 started having orgasms " spontaneously and constantly without any stimulation." She relates how "sitting in a restaurant with friends does not give me any pleasure because of the throbbing." Clearly there should be a clause allowing smoking in NYC restaurants for people with this type disability. Equally unamusing is the diary of another unforunate sufferer who recounts the sad tale of getting "numbness of hips and legs followed by a very strong continuous orgasm" while running to catch the train, thereby providing one of the best excuses for being late to work her boss had ever heard.

The photography of Wim Delvoye
In hindsight Belgian artist
Wim Delvoye new photography exhibition seems a natural evolution. Clearly it was just a matter of time before some took pornography to this level. The result, while we wouldn't exactly call it erotic, is most certainly the most
revealing look at human
sexual interaction we've ever seen.
