If you were raised by wolves or hamsters or some other creatures which do not take long car trips you may not know how to play 20 questions. The idea is simple. You think of something and someone else asks you yes or no questions until they guess it. Simple right? The kind of game a computer would be good at playing - definitely not. Nope. This kind of game is in fact ideally suited to internet play, because the computer can learn about the game every time it's played, and in turn learn about the world. If enough people play online the computer algorythm will eventually be able to describe almost everything you can think of. The program beat me three times until I was finally able to stump it with girlfriend. In turn the program learned from me that 1)Yes. Girlfriends can bite 2)They may or may not be furry 3)They can be useful  4)They can bend. 5)They can be stolen. And I learned that it can be a little spooky when an AI asks if girlfriends can be stolen.Go to the site
