The 1000 journal project
1000journals.com is an experiment in collaborative art. The idea is that one thousand journals are mailed out to the first one thousand people who sign up for them. The next people to sign up get in line behind the first thousand. Each person contributes something to the journal and then mails it off to the next in line. Eventually the journals will get returned to the website filled with beautiful imagery and prose. The concept is wonderful, but it seems most of the journals eventually end up in the hands of someone who is too lazy, busy, or greedy to pass them on. Thankfuly due to the sheer number of journals in distribution at least some of these have made the rounds and returned to the website owner greatly improved.Go to the site
