Definitely an esoteric vibe to it

Saw it once then couldn’t find the place the second time around. There’s no evidence a bar occupies this space except in the evening when it is open. This is without doubt a neighborhood bar, not the main destination for a LES bar hopper...unless you are low on cash or there’s no space at the slightly more popular restaurant next door. Still worth a visit, especially if you felt like a drink all of a sudden and had no time to go change out of your sweatpants!

Everything you need

This place plays stones roses and joy division and sometimes has a dog guarding the door called Sam. What more do you need. It also makes good cocktails, stocks some reasonable wine and has great service
